In Bedside, family and friends pay visits to a dying person, to sit by their hospital bed. The larp plays in meaningful silences, useless gestures, conversations about trivialities and helpless words. The game is interspersed with retrospect scenes about the life of the dying person, and their connections to the visitors. The players take on the roles of the visitors, the bedridden dying person, and their younger self that shows up in retrospect scenes.

About the author
Mike Krolikowski is a 2015 graduate of the College of Wizardry. Ever since then he travels the multiverse, frequently visiting the productions of Atropos, Karolina Soltys, and short-form scenario events. He began his organizer career with the German ‘It’s Full Of Larps’ festival in 2017, and since then eagerly organizes chamber and online games. He joins Stockholm Scenario for the first time, with his larpwriting debut, ‘Bedside’.
