Everything is gone: The people they knew… the Internet… running water… Marie. After the anti-vaxxers gained the ear of the public, and trust in public institutions evaporated, diseases and chaos spread quickly.
The scenario is an interpersonal drama set in the dystopic and hostile future of 2028. It’s follows the twins Cecilia and Jasper, Cecilia’s boyfriend Christian, and Christian’s best friend Louise. They all must find Marie, who has been kidnapped.
As their journey progresses they realise the do not only need to find Marie, but also find out who they are as people in 2028. They will be faced with a series of brutal dilemmas. Will they stand firm to their core values, or compromise to get by in the new world?
As a player, you will be given pictures, notes, and flashback scenes, to get to know who your character and the group were. But it’s up to you to decide who your character is, in a world that is dark, and where old conflicts and wounds opens yet again.
Bio:
Katrine has over the years co-written and organized a number of larps, including the 2019 international larp “Spoils of War”, the “Victorious”-series, the changeling triology “Lost in Dublin” and the vampire campaign “The City of Kings”. Interpersonal drama is the key element in all her writing. She usually writes tabletop campaigns, so it was a challenge writing in this format for the first time. She works as Head of Analysis at a Danish NGO, and teaches advanced methodology at Copenhagen University.
