A larp about characters and players and about those big emotions flowing in between them. In a meta-exploration of bleed two players will portray the tension between player and character while also navigating their in- and offgame relationships. In the first act – the larp – characters live their lives, with the players following close behind, constantly interfering by holding the characters back, urging them on, steering the narrative and second-guessing themselves as larpers. In the second act – the after party – the players are in focus trying to interact and chill together, but the characters are still clinging to them, not ready to let go of the story, wanting the players to feel what they feel.
Be prepared to play on all of the emotions! To confront your antagonist as well as your self doubts. To get closer to your love interest and to your co-larpers. To connect and comfort each other in dark times. All while asking yourself exactly where the character ends and the player begins.
About the authors
Johani is a larper and larp designer from Uppsala. They have designed larps for small groups since the early 2000s. This is their second contribution to Stockholm Scenario Festival. When not totally overwhelmed by everyday life Johani can be found hyperfocusing on their special interests neurodivergency, sexuality and relationships.
